Sedans and SUVs for O’Hare, Midway, the Loop, and River North. You walk to a numbered stall. There is no shuttle line and no counter upsell.
Three kinds. The day rate below is the car itself. Tolls, fuel you use, and optional extras are listed under rates.
Sample rates for Lakefront Cars. A paid site would pull the live price for the dates you pick. Tax is about 20% in Chicago and is added at the desk.
| Car | Day | Week | Miles included | After that | Card hold |

State-minimum liability, the miles above, a roadside number on the key tag, and a desk at the airport or downtown. Cancel free until 24 hours before pickup.
Damage waiver $19 a day on the city car and SUV, $29 on the weekend car. Extra driver $12 a day. Child seat $12 a day. Driver under 25 pays $25 a day.
Four desks. You can pick up at one and return at another. There is no drop-off outside Chicago.
Arrivals, door 3. Open 6 a.m. to midnight. About 30 to 60 minutes to the Loop on the Kennedy, longer in rush hour.
Arrivals curb, lane B. Open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. About 25 to 40 minutes to the Loop on the Stevenson.
Sample stall on Wacker Drive by the river. Open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Best if you are already in a hotel downtown.
Sample stall near Ohio and Wells. Open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Ten minutes from the Loop when the lights are with you.
The car is in a numbered stall. The desk texts the stall number when you are 20 minutes out.
Written here so the desk does not surprise you. This is a sample company, not a real rental contract.
Age 21 or older, with a license held at least one year. Drivers 21 to 24 pay $25 a day. An extra driver is $12 a day and must be at the desk with a license before the car leaves. The weekend car is 25 and older.
A credit card in the driver’s name. Debit cards are not accepted on this sample. The hold is $200, or $500 on the weekend car, and drops off after the car is checked in. Bring it back with the same fuel. A lower tank is billed at the pump price plus a $15 service fee.
Put the flight number on the form. The car is held three hours after the scheduled landing. A return more than 59 minutes late is another day. After midnight, use the key box and text (312) 555-0194 with the stall number.
November through March the SUV has winter tires. City streets are salted, so a car wash is on you if you want one. Tolls on the Kennedy, the Jane Addams, and I-294 bill to the car and show up later on the card. Downtown meters and garages are not included. DuSable Lake Shore Drive is the usual way up the lakefront.
The day rate includes state-minimum liability only. The damage waiver is optional and is not an insurance policy. Illinois wants riders under 8 in a child seat; reserve one at $12 a day. Parking tickets and red-light tickets stay with the driver.
Cancel or move the days until 24 hours before pickup and pay nothing. Inside 24 hours the desk keeps one day. One-way between the four Chicago desks is free. Cars do not go to another city.
This preview prices the car on the page and does not send the booking. A paid site would email the rental company.
Match the stall number to the text. Walk around the car. The sheet already lists chips and scrapes. Add anything new before you leave the lot.
Meters downtown run about $2 to $7 an hour. A garage for the evening is often $20 to $50. The river stalls are easier than circling the Loop for a spot.
Sample desk (312) 555-0194. Open with the O’Hare hours, 6 a.m. to midnight. This number is not a real rental company.
